Best practice to restart SAM server and its backend DB server ?
We have the IT policy to patch servers and restart every two months. We have a SolarWinds SAM server and a SQL Server backend server . both are VMs. Do you know what's need to be done before I reboot...

Make sure the services on your solarwinds server and DB server (if separate) are started. If so, you may need to restart both sides. I had the same issue once and fixed for me.
