Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help with my problem.
I'm using Evntwin to generate traps for specifed Windows security events on my system. I then use SNMP Trap viewer built into NPM to generate automated email alerts triggered by these traps. Currenty, the whole trap message is sent in the email body text, however, I am concerned that some of the information contained in the trap text is a little to sensitive to be sending out to a public mail server.
Is there any way I can strip specific portions of text from the body text of these messages without drastically changing the way I do things?
Can I use a script to strip text from the original message and then output the edited text in the automated email created by Trap Viewer?
Thanks for any help you can offer
Matt
