What was life like before using SolarWinds? (Include what you were using and why you decided it was time for a change)
We used the standard VMware and SAN tools to monitor VCenter and thought things we just fine.....then we turned on Virtualization Manager (VMan).
Which SolarWinds product(s) saved your bacon?
Virtualization Manager! It showed us about some memory issues that were slowing us down and told us how to fix them. We also reduced sprawl.
Did you consider other options, and why did you choose SolarWinds?
Yes, Foglight and another vendors product.
How has life been since you've rolled out SolarWinds in your environment?
VMware has never run better for us. We have also added Storage Manager. VMan and SMan are great together!
