Have a server located in DMZ and looking to use the agent option. I see two ways to deploy an agent, one from the management server and other installing the agent directly onto the DMZ server.
Installing from the management server doesn't work as this is into a DMZ with restricted ports - the reason for needing a remote poller and/or agent in the first place.
Installing from the DMZ server doesn't work because this requires DMZ initiated communication back into the management server.
Is there a way in which the agent can be installed onto the server that needs to be monitored without it having to have all the ports opened (assume using wmi to install the agent) or having inbound ports open as currently it will not install agent unless the management server ip address with username/password are configured.
I need a way in which agent software can be installed on a target server and all communication is initiated from the management LAN to the DMZ with no communication from DMZ to management LAN.
